UBS Finance has commenced what will be a highly valued partnership with Plumpton yesterday. Richard, Christopher and Andrew from UBS worked with Mr Shakespeare (Head Teacher TAS), Ms Bailey, Mr Boardman and Mr Jaswal looking at how Plumpton implements its Tech Mandatory 50 hours of computer coding in Year 8 2020. In addition, they developed strategy about working with our Gifted and Talented (GAT) and Elective Computer Science courses to build capacity of students that could see them pursuing a career in computer science/software design and development, an area of need in the workforce.
Richard, Christophe and Andrew then worked with our GAT Computer Science Club supporting them in the learning whilst providing an authentic current workforce mentorship to both the students and staff.
