Bella was named as the 2019 Plumpton High School Dux with and ATAR score of 93.85. Bella was a Distinguished Achiever for the NSW HSC in both Biology and Mathematics Standard 2. At Plumpton she placed first in Biology, English Standard, Mathematics Standard 2 and Physics. She was awarded the Newtonian Shield for Achievement in Science and Mathematics an academically outstanding student within the subject areas of Mathematics and Science.
Isabella as a result of her academic success, leadership, Duke of Edinburgh award, school community contribution, charity and volunteering work she was offered 5 Early Entry Offers to University
As School Prefect, Isabella has shown a desire to contribute in a meaningful manner to her local community. She has taken pride and a great sense of responsibility in being a representative of her cohort and developed her skill set throughout the year including project management and public speaking. Isabella has continually represented the school with respect at a range of internal events with parents and local community leaders present. Isabella has organised and facilitated and reflected critically upon, whole school events involving the wider community such as Run West. She contributed to charities in her involvement in events such as the 40 hour backpack challenge where she raised a substantial amount of money. Isabella also started a Breakfast program at school to encourage students to start the day well for effective learning.
Bella has been also an outstanding participant in school sport throughout her time at Plumpton High School. She has represented the school in numerous sporting teams, and at the Zone Cross Country and Athletics carnivals of which she has also represented Mt Druitt Zone since year 7. This year at the Sydney West Cross Country Carnival, Bella finished 10th, thus gaining qualification to represent Sydney West at the NSWCHS Cross Country carnival. She has represented Plumpton High School with distinction, making her a deserving recipient of the Senior Sportswoman of the Year award.
