ABCN Scholarship Winners 2021 – Congratulations Sabeeka Shakeel and EJ Vaoliko Savesi

Congratulations to Sabeeka and EJ of Year 10 who were awarded Australian Business Community Network (ABCN) Scholarships last night.

Sabeeka and EJ are 2 of 41 students across Australia to win these prestigious scholarships in 2021 an incredible feat that demonstrates their intellectual ability, leadership capacity, determination, courage, community contribution and commitment to striving for excellence. Students can potentially be offered employment with these companies following the completion of their studies.

An ABCN Scholarship entitles Scholars to:

• A senior business mentor selected by ABCN from their network of member companies

• $7000 over years 11, 12 and the first year of further education, training or employment

• Participate in the ABCN Accelerate program

Plumpton High School has proudly partnered with ABCN for the past six years and is commencing year 7 in 2022. We would like to express our sincere thanks to ABCN and its member companies that provide our students opportunities by opening doors and access to business networks to build their level of innovation, creativity, knowledge, skills and leadership capacity.

Some of Plumpton High School’s ABCN business partners that we work with on a regular basis include Lend Lease, TAL, JP Morgan, Microsoft, Amex, Accenture, Ernst and Young and The Commonwealth Bank. Plumpton students have now been awarded 8 ABCN Scholarships over the last 6 years, which is an outstanding achievement.
