Plumpton’s Got Talent - Congratulations

It was wonderful to see so many students and staff perform last night at our Plumpton’s Got Talent show. This truly demonstrated the inclusive nature of our school, also highlighted with some of our most reserved/shy students performing a hip hop dance that was pretty much flawless.

Students and staff put themselves forward to perform as they were confident that irrespective of their performance they would be embraced by all present, and celebrated for the courage they displayed in standing up in front of their peers. It is so pleasing to see such a level of positive school spirit and engagement.

Ugochi Duru continues to reach new heights in her singing performance highlighting that our teachers are developing exceptional talent with an ability to display excellence in their chosen field.

On behalf of our great school and personally I would like to express my sincere thanks and congratulations to our Heads of House - Nicole Parry, Tom Kelly, Ben Porritt and Quinton Single for bringing to life our incredible Plumpton's Got Talent night, led on this occasion by Nicole Parry.

It was also wonderful to see the Year 11 Entertainment students running the Audio/Visual production, House Captains leading the backstage work, MC, judge and a significant number of SEC students assisting with the BBQ and other organisational parts of the event.

Thank you to our staff performers – Gary Irvine, Nancy Vukovic, Lacy Eckel and Quinto Single leading by example. Thank you to our staff judges – Claire Leihn and Bienn Tongol, PDHPE Staff who assisted with the event – Stella Tuilaselase, Amanda Smid and Liam Canning. Thank you to Tim Pagulayan for taking photos and filming.

This was an excellent collaborative and inclusive celebratory end to a very busy and productive Term 1.
