Exploring the Future of Tech Partnering with AirTrunk & ABCN!

Some of our Year 9 Plumpton High School students had an exciting and inspiring day at an ABCN Tech Careers Expo at AirTrunk, Eastern Creek!

AirTrunk is a leading data centre company that designs, builds and operates the digital infrastructure that keeps the world connected. Its data centres support the technology, cloud services, applications and digital platforms that people and businesses rely on every day.

For our students, visiting AirTrunk provided a fantastic opportunity to see behind the scenes of an industry that plays such an important role in our increasingly digital world.

The day gave students the opportunity to explore the wide range of careers available in the technology industry. Through engaging activities, presentations and conversations with industry professionals, our students gained valuable insights into the skills, pathways and opportunities that could shape their future.

It was fantastic to see our students asking questions, getting involved and discovering that careers in technology extend far beyond what they may have imagined. From engineering and technology to project management, business, sustainability and many other fields, students were able to see the diverse opportunities available within the tech industry.

A huge thank you to ABCN and AirTrunk for providing our students with such a valuable experience and for inspiring the next generation to dream big, explore possibilities and consider the many pathways available to them.
