Money Mastery - ABCN with Hall and Wilcox Partnering with Plumpton High School Year 11

Year 11 students recently had the valuable opportunity to participate in the ABCN Money Mastery Program at Hall & Wilcox, a leading independent Australian commercial law firm with a history dating back to 1917.

During the program, students worked alongside Hall & Wilcox staff, taking part in activities that provided an insight into the professional workplace and helped develop important skills, confidence and career awareness.

The program focuses on practical financial skills, including:

• Making informed financial decisions

• Budgeting and managing money

• Understanding workplace rights and entitlements

• Building confidence to talk about money

• Developing financial capability for life after school

• Building confidence around future financial choices

The experience gave our students an opportunity to step into a professional environment and learn from people working in the legal and business sectors. Programs such as these help students explore future career pathways, build workplace skills and develop an understanding of the opportunities available beyond school.

We sincerely thank ABCN, Guy Cuthbertson and Hall & Wilcox for their commitment to supporting young people and for providing our Year 11 students with such a meaningful learning and career development experience.
