Educational Pathways Program (EPP) Principal Champion Forum

Honoured to attend and be a member of the Leadership Governance Group (LGG) Educational Pathways Program (EPP) Principal Champion Forum in Inverell over 2 days. As Principal Champions of the EPP (8 Principals) and LGG members Nadene Harvey, Joumana Youssef, Scott Dinham, Kirstine Gonano, Anthony Angel, Wayne Fowke, Richard Finter and I were working with the Executive Director Suzie Matthews, Director Robyn Pemberton, CEO Shannon Mudiman, Delivery Manager Vanessa Gonzales and Senior Project and Policy Officer Educational Pathways Program Careers and Pathways Programs Geoff Nix.

The two days were a strategic focus on the following:

• Leading and influencing strategic change to improve the Educational Pathways Program (EPP) and broader pathways experiences for students in NSW Public Schools

• Considering how to maximise the impact of the EPP and strengthen capability across our NSW Public Schools system

• Defining and considering how we strengthen key partnerships and where extra support is required

• Collaborating and designing next steps for the role of the EPP Principal Champion

At the completion of the highly successful forum there is a clear way forward that will continue to build upon the incredible opportunities the EPP is providing schools across NSW. Part of this work is strategically looking at how to expand the EPP across a greater number of NSW secondary schools. Plumpton High School has enjoyed the wonderful opportunities the EPP has provided students across a diverse landscape.

Huge thank you also to BOSS Engineering for providing us a tour of their site in Inverell. BOSS Engineering is a civil engineering company based out of Australia. BOSS manufactures a wide range of planters, air seeders, and more, and provides spare parts for BOSS planters, as well as aftermarket spare parts.
