- Child protection - DOCS - Community Services promotes the safety and wellbeing of children and young people with the aim of building stronger families and communities. They provide child protection services, parenting support and early intervention, foster care, adoption services and help for communities affected by disaster. - NSW Government Transport - The School Transport Scheme (SSTS) provides subsidised travel for eligible school students on rail, bus, ferry and long distance coach services. A subsidy is also available for transport to and from school in private vehicles in areas where no public transport is available. Transport for NSW manages the School Student Transport Scheme. Transport operators issue passes to eligible students, and schools play an important role in verifying students' eligibility and liaising with transport providers.
