The Positive Behaviour for Learning Framework is a significant approach for actively supporting student learning and for building student capacity at Plumpton High School. The PBL Framework is also supported by a variety of other relevent frameworks that develop staff and student capacity to further enhance the explicit teaching and learning of behaviour and curriculum.
Through the Positive Behaviour for Learning Leadership team and the Learning Support Team, data is used to evaluate our systems and practices so that purposeful, successful and multi-dimensional strategies are employed and appropriate enhancements and interventions are put in place with regards to learning and/or behaviour. The aim is to create an optimum learning environment in which the diverse needs of the full range of students are effectively met. This demands the use of a full range of strategies and provisions.
