Year 9 students travelled to the South Eveleigh (Redfern) precinct for an ABCN Future Thinkers Program at the Commonwealth Bank.
Future Thinkers aims to build creative and innovative problem-solving skills through the process of design thinking. Design thinking is a human-centred approach to innovation increasingly used by organisations to transform challenges into opportunities. Research on the future of work indicates that these problem-solving, critical thinking and judgement skills are key transferable enterprise skills for the Australian workforce to remain competitive and thrive in a rapidly changing global economy.
To ABCN, please accept our sincerest thanks to all those (Maree, Einat and Anna) who put so much effort into bringing such an inspiring Program to life.
To the Commonwealth Bank team, thank you for welcoming us into your beautiful/sustainability focused offices, spoiling us with a delicious "QR Code" lunch and to those staff members who so generously gave of their precious time to mentor our students.
