Congratulations Caiden Bond & Alice Ton who placed 2nd in Australia in this year’s Day of AI competition competing against over 200 schools nationally. Caiden and Alice also won a JB HIFI gift voucher, valued at $200 each.
Caiden and Alice developed an AI-driven idea to use a robot to assist in hospitals to address the relevant and timely issue of Australia’s stressed hospital and healthcare system that was fantastic. The thinking was outstanding, particularly, it was clear how much thought and effort went into their idea, such as the description of the QR code application and their idea to use existing medical textbooks as data sets was brilliant and demonstrated how much they learnt throughout the day. The thinking and creativity that went into their pitch to bring the technology to life was excellent.
Congratulations again to our staff - Mr Shakespeare and Mr Jaswal, students and thank you to CS in schools, The tdm Foundation and the Australian Academy of Technology and Engineering for their support and making this day possible for over 200 schools.
