Students from Years 10 and 11 visited the Australian Catholic University (ACU) Blacktown Campus for an "Explore Nursing and Midwifery" event. They were given a tour of the Campus, learnt how Nurses and Midwives work at the forefront of patient care and visited ACUs interactive, fully functional Nursing and Midwifery simulation wards. The event was led by ACU Academics and students were able to engage in realistic interactions with high tech manikins and actors to develop and practise interpersonal and medically related decision-making skills.
Thank you to the staff from Australian Catholic University (ACU) Blacktown Campus for providing our students this unique opportunity.
