Congratulations to Jonathan Fabar who has been awarded a Sydney West School Sport Association Blue in 2024 for Softball.
Jonathan represented NSW at the National Championships where NSW defeated Qld in the final with Jonathan hitting the winning home run. NSW was undefeated throughout the National Championship. Following this Jonathan was selected earlier in 2024 in the All Australian Schools Softball Team.
The Blue Award is a very special award that is only presented to students who have “excelled on the sporting field, have displayed outstanding sportsmanship and have made great contributions to their school and sporting communities”.
The Sydney West School Sport Association Blues Committee convenes annually to consider nominations submitted by team managers, coaches and conveners. The Blues Award Ceremony is held in Term 4 each year.
Congratulations upon a remarkable set of achievements for Jonathan in 2024 and we wish him well as he heads into Year 12 to complete his HSC.
