I'm interested in a variety of hobbies and passions which encompasses reading, writing, psychology and how we as humans function and react to experiences and public speaking. Using my hobbies as a foundation, I aim to pursue professions that cater to my interests and passions.

After school I would like to attend university, preferably in degrees related to psychology such as neuropsychology, journalism or teaching.

Having a Corporate Mentor has thoroughly aided in my journey as a high school student. It holds me accountable to achieve goals both in and out of school, gives me an insight on how to build connections and what life is like after school, gives me an opportunity to reflect on exams and how I can improve in the future and, is an effective approach in gaining an understanding of how I can build my future. Having a Corporate Mentor is invaluable to me as I navigate my last years of school, providing essential guidance for my future.

I’m passionate about literature, exploring the arts, social issues and spending quality time with family and friends. I enjoy reading contemporary novels, creating art, or diving into discussions about philosophy and culture. These hobbies keep me grounded and inspire my dreams for the future.

When I leave school, I hope to pursue a career in sociology. I’m fascinated by understanding how people interact and shaping a fairer society. Studying social sciences will help me achieve this goal and prepare me for a role where I can make a positive impact.

Having a Corporate Mentor means a lot to me. It’s about having someone experienced to guide me through my final year of school, helping me navigate tough decisions, and connecting me with opportunities that align with my aspirations. I’m incredibly grateful for this support as I prepare to take the next steps toward achieving my dreams.

My interests are erratically eclectic, like the 1000-piece puzzle I am. I have a soft spot for soppy, tear-jerking novels and Netflix shows that pull at my heartstrings and leave me pondering about the fictional worlds long after I’ve turned the last page or watched the last episode. Although, this is complimented by an affinity towards the rigorous studies of Maths and Science.

I dream of studying a Doctor of Medicine. I want to dedicate my life to improving health outcomes for all. My inexorable commitment to serving the community is paralleled only by my fervent passion for human biology and public health.

To me, a Corporate Mentor is a bridge that connects who I am now to who I aspire to be. My Corporate Mentor keeps me accountable for tasks, and offers pivotal guidance regarding future decisions. Essentially, a Corporate Mentor keeps me on my individual path to success. My Corporate Mentor has also been a vital conduit for networking, helping me reach out to individuals in the field. Having a Corporate Mentor is one of my greatest privileges.

My interests cannot be limited to one field. Over the years I have come to love so many aspects of different studies, such as Mathematics, Drama, and Graphic Design. I believe what ties these together is the creative element. Drama explores the creativity of expression when performing, Graphic Design allows limitless freedom as you build products and designs from the ground up, and while Mathematics may not seem creative, as you delve into the deeper territories of Extension II with proofs, you need creativity to connect concepts and ideas.

My life after school is as concrete as my interests. I’m yet to find a specific area in which I want to study, but I know for sure I want to pursue higher education in University. I hope to focus on a career that allows me to maximise my creativity.

A Corporate Mentor is not just a guide, but a pathway to a future. Having a corporate Mentor has allowed me to expand my thinking past “I don’t know what I want to do.” and allowed me to see my future as “I don’t know what I want to do yet, but I’m going to do everything I can to figure it out.”. As a student, it is not often that you are provided any aid or direction when pursuing your future. A Corporate Mentor does exactly that, and is one of the most valuable connections I’ve made in my schooling.

What drives me as a person can span across a range of fields; from being in the spotlight as I belt my heart out on the stage, to predicting the genotypes of an offspring in biology class. I am always diligently searching for ways to learn new things and push past my comfort zone, reaching beyond.

With such diverse interests, I aspire to either embark on the career path of becoming a paediatrician or an actress - continuing my studies in university once I complete high school. I simply enjoy being active and aiding my community to be the best they can be, yet also love to explore the creative aspects of life!

Having a corporate mentor by my side throughout this journey has been highly reassuring. Being able to have a reliable, trustworthy, and inspiring mentor who I can reach out to has steadily shaped me, academically and mentally, to be ready for any encounters I may face, whether it be positive or negative.

I'm interested in activities that twist my brain and make me really ponder on the workings of the world. In particular, I love to watch fantastical movies that challenge the perspectives of the world and portray different human experiences. I enjoy watching mystery or investigative shows that really let me think and problem solve, I find it really enjoyable to predict what will happen next. Specifically, I am extremely passionate about exploring the impacts that human experiences can have on behaviours, studying psychology is a path I am heavily considering. Along with this, I am also interested in engineering and exploring the inner workings and foundations that have helped to shape our world.

After my completion of high school, I aspire to study and work in psychology or engineering in university. I would love to work with children in some way and I would be honored to spend my life helping shape the next generations. Helping anyone through these careers will fulfill my desire to aid others and I desire to leave a positive impact on others, no matter how small.

To me, a corporate mentor is someone who provides the best advice. I am confident that I can go to my mentor about anything and I would come out of that conversation with guidance and direction for my next steps. My mentor provides me an opportunity to experience life after study, and gives me guidance to achieve my goals. In my final years of high school, there are an incredible amount of challenges I face and am often stumped on how to approach, but having a corporate mentor at my side allows me to gain insights and perspectives that I could only dream of having. Having a corporate mentor gives me the greatest advantage to my current life and life after study.

I find a great interest in storytelling. This allows one to express one's imagination to create something incredible. For this reason, I love films and literature. They allow me to enter and experience the world someone else has created. Storytelling entertains me and stimulates my own imagination to create my own world. I am also fascinated with Modern History. I find it interesting to learn about the history of our world in the modern era. I find Modern History extremely compelling and I want to learn more.

When I leave school, I aim to study to become a dentist. I have had this goal since year 8. However, I am uncertain if this is what I want to do. I am open to what comes my way and will take every opportunity to find an interesting career that fits my strengths.

The ability to have a corporate mentor is extremely valuable. My corporate mentor provides me insight into the future after school. They prepare me for challenges I may face in the future and provide me with guidance on how I can be successful in my HSC and after school. I am very thankful for the privilege of having a corporate mentor and will value every bit of guidance I am given.
