Isabella Cobban is the recipient of a 2024 ABCN Accelerate Scholarship. The Scholarship is a three-year program that combines corporate mentoring and financial support for high-potential Australian students. It is specifically designed to support students to pursue tertiary pathways and achieve their potential. The program covers Years 11, 12 and the first year of further education/training.
The Scholarship includes: one-on-one support with a mentor from ABCN’s network of corporate partners to help develop workplace skills, growth mindsets, aspirations and connections, a targeted focus on transition from school to tertiary education, workplace access and exposure to the corporate environment. Isabella is supported by her mentor Alison Constantinou from Adobe.
Another exciting and important facet of the ABCN Foundation Accelerate Scholarship is the annual Leadership Summit. The Leadership Summit is a two-day program that provides an opportunity for all scholars and mentors from around Australia to meet, network, connect, and be inspired. During the Summit, students worked with Mentor on key leadership skills and strategies, strengths, values, confidence, and many other important and inspirational topics. Isabella was even able to meet with former NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian.
