First Whole School Assembly 2024

First Whole School Assembly 2024

On Monday morning we held our first Whole School Assembly for 2024. We are looking forward to another year of success through a strong focus on commitment, smart and hard work, innovation, creativity, promoting wellbeing and using the collaborative power of many to become the best we can be.

We begin each assembly with an Acknowledgement of Country and our School Pledge as a part of our personal commitment to learning, wellbeing and belonging to community led by our students.

We ask our students to reflect as they walk through the gates at the end of each school day and ask themselves ‘what they can improve tomorrow to be slightly better than today’. Each day is a new day, fresh start, and an opportunity to work towards becoming the best we can be one small step at a time.

Students are responsible for their learning and wellbeing, supporting their peers to learn and allowing our teachers to teach. Students are responsible for asking for assistance with their learning and wellbeing if in need and looking out for peers in need as part of their collective and supportive community responsibility.

Our legacy is continuing to build the positive and successful school culture that will see our students succeed at school and in life, providing opportunities for those who come after they move to higher years and into the world beyond school.
